(6) PRETTY HOT has produced little in the Ryan barn, but she drops, gets a better post and McClure returns for a second drive. I'll use her in the Pick 5. (3) STELLENBOSCH gets McNair here and this race has the profile of ones that he wins regularly; using. (1) DAZZLING ROCKETTE should be able to make the ticket starting from the inside. Race 2 (5) MEGO MOSS sat the trip behind favored (4) CLASS ME NICE last week, then got the better of that rival late. This race looks like it will come down to these two again. I'll use both in the Pick 5 and give a slight nod to the former. (7) NATURAL KEMP should be passing many of these in the back 1/2 and he can complete the trifecta. (6) LEXUS ROCKY was third behind the top two last time while making no move of his own. A small share should be his ceiling here. Race 3 (1) TRACEUR HANOVER lays over this group. The only concern is the time off, but I'll single him, and hope class prevails. (4) MOHAWK WARRIOR makes a living out of finishing 2nd and that result presents a strong possibility here again. (2) MAJOR HILL can be effective if he sits in here, which is likely. (3) VELOCITY DRIVEN took advantage of a slower back half last week to win at long odds. This time a smaller share is likely for him. Race 4 (2) D J POWER made a sustained move to the front last week on a track that was tiring, which could have factored into his late fade. I'll give him another shot here. (7) PREPPY ART faces what should be easier here and he picks up McNair; using. (5) SUNNY BEACH DAY has streaky form cycles, but right now he is going well, so he can win this. (1) BRILLIANT STRIKE N is a tough one to figure from week to week, but he could do with the right trip and he might get it in here. Race 5 (8) RESISTANCE FUTILE was very live last week, but had too far to come against a leader that got away at the head of the lane. He can take these leaving from a slightly better post. (4) EAST END was used up early on a track that was more favorable to closers last time. He can last much longer here. (3) IMSPORTY rode the closer bias to an upset win, but he is sharp and shouldn't be taken lightly here. (1) ASAP HANOVER beat much easier last week, but, he should be good for a slice against these. Race 6 (2) LMC MASS OAK couldn't get in gear last time racing in the snow, but from a better post, he should produce an effort close to his penultimate start, which would be good enough to beat these. (4) CLOUD NINE HANOVER interestingly is moved into Puddy's barn by owner Vanderkemp, who was training last week. I'll use him on that angle despite him having missed some time. (3) MAJESTIC PRESENCE was an easy winner off the bench and she merits a look here despite stepping up in class. (1) HOLIDAY PARTY can hit the ticket off an inside following trip here. Race 7 (3) MYSTICAL MISSION is on a serious roll and he has been getting some great steers from A Mac. I'll stick with him here. (4) WARAWEE SHIPSHAPE made two moves to win in his first start for new owners and he merits serious consideration here. (1) HIGHLAND TOP HILL continues to race tough and he certainly isn't out of this. (8) BLAMEITONTHEWHISKY can stick around for a share here. Race 8 (3) CAROLINA CHERRY has shown rapid improvement since being claimed in late November and she can take another here. (5) TEACHERS VET is worthy of a serious look dropping out of the Niagara series. (2) V STRING faces tougher here coming off a good effort, but she can take a share racing close up. (1) FADE AWAY brings good form in from London and she would be worth a play here if she gets ignored in the wagering. Race 9 This is (4) AMERICAN VIRGIN's time of year. He won five straight in this Preferred class last winter and this race is well within his scope; top call. (6) JINS SHARK should improve with a tightener under his belt and he should be the main danger to the choice here. (3) CHAMPAGNE PHIL never misses the board, it seems; use underneath. (5) NIRVANA SEELSTER will no doubt set the early pace again, but he isn't likely to last. Race 10 (8) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN got shuffled out of the race last week vs. better. He could take this group all the way if he clears quickly. (2) BLATANTLY BEST drops and he should be put into action early vs. these. (1) FANCOURT fits this class well and he should be in the thick of things again. (5) ASLAN will likely revert to a closing style here, but, he should pass most of these and take a slice.
