Race 1

(5) BROOKDALE SHADOW went a big trip up front last week setting solid fractions and was nailed only by one that was on the improve and figured highly. She stands a good chance of wiring this field. (1) GREYSTONE LADYLIKE raced evenly in her comeback race and should improve with the class drop making her 2nd start in 4 months. (7) BAROCKEY has returned from the races in sharp form and seems to prefer Woodbine and colder weather. She's not out of this.

Race 2

(6) L A DELIGHT goes for her 11th straight win here and only an unlikely suicidal pace duel could get her beat it seems. (1) GOOD WILL HANOVER has improved her overall speed and seems most likely to upset if the choice falters. (4) HEAVENLY HILL gets Tetrick which certainly won't hurt; should share.

Race 3

(7) CAPRICE HILL is the class of this division and shouldn't have any trouble with Ontario-breds here. (3) DEVILS ADVOCATE comes in off a sharp win for Hall of Famer Waples who has done most of the training work with her, too. This duo should grab a good chunk of this lucrative purse. (8) EMOTICON HANOVER stopped on a dime in the Peaceful Way Final and it seems something went terribly amiss there. She is likely to be a much bigger price here and could sweeten exotics payouts.

Race 4

(3) THUNDER STEELER raced okay in his comeback race last week and should last longer here after cleaning the carbon out of his engine; top call. (4) LETS ROCK TOGETHER finished just ahead of the choice in an improved performance and could be cycling back to a win now; using. (6) CRAFTY MASTER has done well here and has upset possibilities returning from a break.

Race 5

(1) NOCTURNAL BLUE CHIP was a very sharp winner two back then was too far back at Flamboro last time. He's improving at the right time and gets the call to upset here. (5) BETTING LINE is obviously one of the best colts in Canada but has some physical issues that makes it reasonable to think he's beatable here. (7) CONTINUAL HANOVER was a sharp first-over winner in a Gold OSS event out of town and is another that seems to be improving as the season draws closer to completion.

Race 6

(5) TONY SOPRANO has performed well in sires stakes company all season and is the one to beat here if he trots the entire mile. (6) DEWEYLOVERNLEAVER gets Lasix after two mediocre performances vs. better and a sharp improvement at a big price isn't out of the question here. (10) NOFEAR BLUE CHIP is still a maiden but has raced solidly for several weeks and is another that could boost exotics payouts.

Race 7

(7) REVEREND HANOVER was carried out several lanes on the backstretch by a breaker last week while making his move to the front. He recovered to pace a phenomenal mile in defeat; top call here. (4) PHYSICALLY INCLINED was the beneficiary of the choice's trouble last week when he chased him down late. He's not without a shot here, but if the choice gets any breather he will be ultra-tough. (1) DRACHAN HANOVER is consistent and should get on the ticket here.

Race 8

(2) MUSCLE BABY DOLL was beat last week at a short price but may have needed that race to recover from being scorched by Mission Brief two back. She should get back on track here. (10) ELEGANT SERENITY has had a stellar season and should not be sold short, even from post 10. (7) SECOND SISTER beat the choice last time but may have benefitted from the wet track which she seems to like.

Race 9

(6) DON'T RUSH put in a monster first-up effort last week closing into an accelerating pace to win. He has excelled in sires stakes action all year and there's no reason to expect anything different here. (9) LUCK O THE IRISH wasn't at his best last week. He should be ready for this bigger purse, don't discount. (5) RUBBER DUCK was super last week driving away first-over and picked a good time to get hot.

Race 10

(2) WRANGLER MAGIC has excelled in the biggest races all year long and gets a good post to work with here; top call. (1) MAPLELEA has compiled an excellent record this year and loves the long Woodbine stretch. She's a threat here. (6) DELIGHTFUL HILL gets a big driver change and is one to consider for the late pick 4.

Race 11

(6) NIRVANA SEELSTER went a tough first-over trip vs. a sharp winner last week. If he can get a more alert start he can take this. (1) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN was hung out in the Jug Final and should get a much better trip here. (3) ARQUE HANOVER rode the inside to a 4th-place finish in the Jug and is a contender here.

Race 12

(4) MELMERBY BEACH led to the very last stride last week when nailed by the pocket-sitter. A repeat of that mile should get the job done here. (7) CHEYENNE REIDER was too far back turning for home last week. If he can latch onto some decent cover he should be much closer at the finish. (3) FOREVER JUST wasn't far back of the choice last week and would be a win threat if he could land in his pocket early. (6) HERE COMES WILLIAM has been racing well and is a good one to use on lower rungs of the Super and High-5. (5) HES A SENSATION rarely misses a check and should get one here, too.
