SPOT PLAYS: 7 - 20 / $75.30

Race 1

(7) ADVERSITY drops after an even effort vs. better last time and these look much easier, so he gets my nod. (4) SETANTA trotted a 56 2/5 back 1/2 last time, which would play well in here if he can lay a bit closer to the front this time. (8) MEADOWBRANCH MEMO improved last time when starting from the worst post and Jamieson is back for a third drive. He has upset possibilities. (2) SUMMIT CITY NATE is capable in this class if Henry can keep him trotting.

Race 2

(2) TRISUN was no match for a winner that was taking his 5th straight victory last time, but he looks best vs. these; top call. (1) COWBOYS DONT CRY has been tearing up the Charlottetown half-miler and he should be formidable here. (3) E L WILD SPIRIT is worth a look adding Lasix for a trainer that sends them ready off layoffs. (4) BOBCAT BOUND is likely to take another smaller share here.

Race 3

(4) TUXEDO BAY was 0-12 this year when he started on October 26th and he has won 3 of 4 in impressive fashion since. I’ll stick with him here. (3) CINNABAR DRAGON was overhauled late by the choice last time, but he had a tougher trip. He figures here. (5) HES A POPPER raced decently in some quick miles in Indiana and he gets the top driver; using. (7) J K COWBOY steps back up following a narrow win vs. claimers; minor share predicted for him.

Race 4

(9) STIRLING BOUDICA dominated similar last week; call to repeat. (10) CREAMPUFF MACDADDY can be very competitive here if he gets sent hard off the gate and he has the right driver for that; using. (4) GIRL DRAMA was no match for the choice last week, but she can pass rivals and take another slice here. (1) THE POWER OF MANY is capable, yet inconstant. I’ll use her underneath in this spot.

Race 5

(4) RED DOG SALOON goes to a 25% winning trainer off the claim here, so I’ll take a shot in a race that looks wide-open. (9) PISTON BROKE takes a class plunge and he should wake up with a much better effort. (3) LUKE AND DUKE had dead aim on the winner but hung last time. Another smaller share is likely for him. (5) SMALLTOWN TERROR is worth a look moving to the middle of the gate.

Race 6

(2) JILONA almost won in a conditioned class the last time McNair drove her on this circuit; beware. (1) SUMMIT CITY TURBO raced well last time vs. a well-meant winner. He’s not out of this, but, notice his 1 for 31 win record this year. (7) AIR GLIDER will be coming from way back and passing a few as he usually does. (5) ABRAS MOMENTUM has a good record this year and he can share here leaving from a good post.

Race 7

(9) P L KNUCKLEHEAD was lights out in this class with Roy driving for the first time last week. He could repeat if he stays flat, but that’s the risky part with him. (5) SON OF ZEUS got going too late last time. He can be right there vs. these if he gets put into the race earlier. (2) MR HOUDINI should share again, but he is unreliable on the win end. (4) HILLS ANGEL can follow along for another share here after finishing 2nd to the choice last week.

Race 8

(2) HOBOKEN HANOVER – a 60-time winner – comes off a sharp victory at Saratoga and he looks best in this claimer. (4) OAKROCK ELDORADO pulled first-up on a winner that was taking a new life’s best last time. He is in with an upset chance, but he must work out a better trip. (9) BUDDHA BLUE CHIP has seen better days, but he should be able to compete with these. (6) VITAL SIGN is capable of sharing here if he is reasonably sound.

Race 9

(6) ST JAMES GATE was perfectly driven last time to a powerful win vs. similar; call to repeat. (5) NORTHERN STORMONT gets Roy going for the Fellows barn off the claim. He is a big threat here. (7) SHOOT THE THRILL has raced well here in the past and he’s worth a look bringing good form in from London. (1) JINAH BLUEGRASS can go better in his second start over Woodbine. He is another to consider for late Pick 4 tickets.

Race 10

(2) NOW WHAT HANOVER switches to a hot barn and goes for a tag shipping in here; all systems go. (5) APHRO STAR just about got there last time when claimed and he is the main danger. (6) J J MYSTIC STORM regularly takes small shares. Expect more of the same. (3) ROCKIN RONNIE should hit the ticket if he stays flat this time. (1) THE BIG BEAST is another that should make the High-5 ticket while racing close to the front throughout.
