Race 2

(3) DOCS HOSS will debut for a new trainer tonight in Tom Riley and also moves up in class. (4) RAVE ON is a must-use for the exactor ticket based on his latest form for trainer Corey Johnson. (1) SHIPPS XPECTANCY has terrific gate-speed, which will more than likely be utilized from the rail with Davis, Jr. aboard.

Race 3

(4) MEADOW SEELSTER was an impressive winner in her latest for trainer Bill Budd and the talented filly has terrific gate-speed to be well positioned in the early stages of the mile. (11) SUMTHINTOTALKABOUT has the speed to be a major player in this dash, but will need to mind her manners and overcome post 10. (6) MAGIC SHELLEY closed very well last week to finish third for trainer Paul Reid.

Race 4

(3) I C D MOOLAH has posted back-to-back scores for trainer McCabe, including last week in this class. (7) ELECTRIFY debuted for trainer Carmen Auciello last week, which resulted in a second-place finish. (8) VITAL ART hasn't missed the board in each of his last five starts for trainer Jeff Thomson.

Race 5

(8) SIX BAX will get my top selection in this wide-open contest for the Baillargeon's. (3) COE LEADER draws well this week for trainer/driver Zeron and has been a proven threat in this class over the past couple of weeks with a pair of third-place efforts. (10) ENOUGH ABOUT YOU is fresh off a win at Flamboro and will bring his confidence onto this circuit into the bottom-end condition trot.

Race 6

(2) JOSHUA MY JOY is making his fourth start off the shelf and drops into the bottom class on this circuit. He shows a pair of 1:51 4/5 efforts two and three starts back and is a top candidate in this class. (5) NOBESTBFOR is hard to estimate what type of price he's going to put up when the gates unfold as he moves onto this circuit and into the Baillargeon barn. (1) MAJOR STARLIGHT draws the rail and comes from a high percentage trainer in Tomlinson.

Race 7

(7) ZEUS LIGHTNING gets significant class relief for this veteran trotter who likely will offer a short price when the gates unfold. (4) BAX OF LIFE was a winner last week at a lower level, but looked terrific with her performance. (2) NOBLE FLIGHT finished a game second last week in this class as the gelding closed from ninth-to-second with a :28 final frame.

Race 8

(9) EVAS GIRL continues to pace in the 1:54-range in each of her last two starts for trainer Peter Core and therefore should be a top candidate in this division. (6) LITTLE MISS SPORTY started off her career on a strong note, but has tailed off as of late. (2) AMAZING CONTROL comes from the Jack Darling camp, draws inside and shows back-to-back 1:54 efforts.

Race 9

(3) PROTEGE SEELSTER has been knocking on the door in recent weeks and is well overdue for a win. (1) GIRL DRAMA has been known for her closing speed and finds herself with a post one start on tonight's occasion. (2) HOLY MOLIE MAGGIE had some time away from the track and since then qualified well on Oct. 10 for trainer Menary.

Race 10

(5) SOUTHWIND LUNA comes out of the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Semi-Finals and into this easier series for trainer Otis Hall. (6) MISTRESS HILL comes from the Auciello barn and hasn't missed the board in two career starts. (7) TESSA SEELSTER comes from the Baillargeon barn and has progressed nicely this season.

Race 11

(9) EMERALD LEXUS was terrific last start in the debut for new trainer Auciello as the veteran went gate-to-wire in 1:52. (8) SHOW TOPPER debuted for new trainer Riley last week and resulted in a third place effort. (4) PINNACLE PEAK is worth considering if the price is right.

Race 12

(5) WATERSIDE LIGHT moves into the Richard Moreau barn and that's the main reason for my selection. (6) VERO HANOVER was very impressive in his latest for trainer Gilkinson.  (1) ARRIVED LATE draws the rail for trainer Johnson and certainly shows the speed.
