Thursday, November 8
MAJOR GRACE (CLMHCP10/15000/3YOU) Sat a tight, racy pocket, angled out late and closed strongly.
CEREAL LOVER (CLM10000) Followewd the winner inside with good finish passing a few foes.
REAL HOUSEWIFE (NW2) Rallied gamely for third at 43-1 and deserves a look with better trip.
GREYSTONE LADYLIKE (NW2FM) Was easily second best to odds on favorite in last and should be able to find field to her liking.
Friday, November 9
WINDSONG GRAND AVE (NW8000FM) Sat in heavy traffic willing but never clear.
YOU BET YOUR GLASS (NW5000) Flashed strong late speed but but had too far to come.
OIL TUMBLER (CLMHCP15/20000) Held gamely at 63-1 and could be the right one in next race or two.
PRECIOUS CAMMILL (NW5000FM) Had pace in tight quarters and could have grabbed a healthy share if she found room.
Saturday, November 10
ONE MORE GINNY (D-OSS) Was buried on the rail to the lane, tipped, knifed through traffic with staunch finish.
WHIPPET GOOD (NW8000) Closed strong and game from third over but the well bet favored winner was faster through the stretch.
PISTI (NW8000) Closed gamely but had too much ground to make up and even the :26.1 last panel wasn't enough. Should score soon enough.
WORLD AWAY (PRF) Veteran was in too deep last time and was a whopping 46-1 on the board. He had early speed but has clearly seen better days but keep an eye on him as he slides back down the ladder.
Monday, November 12
STAR RUFFNREADY (NW25000) Beaten favorite finished well but had much too far to come over a speed favoring track.
COLLEGE MAJOR (NW3) Rallied gamely from a 'no shot' spot and should be able to find a field to his liking.
AAHM A GESTURE (CLMHCP20/30000/3YO) Yielded, sat pocket and rolled by in quick mile on a rainy night. Winning streak should continue.
WESTERN POSSE (CLM10000) Sat a raging but too tight pocket, tried to take the inside steps before it opened, broke, left the course and that was that. Should be along in time in near future.
Best Bets
MOST HAPPY FELLA, reclaimed from last, drops to easier spot after setting pressured pace vs. odds-on Pinball; both wins last year came on this track. ARTIE LUVSTO PARTY has a knack for surprises, with three lifetime wins coming at 33-1, 17-1 & 11-1 (two on this track); entrymate EQUIVOCATION gets major rider switch first off a claim. PURE ATTITUDE among top 3 in wins & earnings and snug fit to date clause.
