Thursday, May 16

CANBEC JEWELL SUN (CLM8000FM) Trailed to the five-eighths, rallied and closed with good speed but had too far to come.

MEANMADDY (NW2FM)Was used hard, grinded to the leader, challenged to the lane but tired in tough luck effort.

DEL RIO SEELSTER (CLM8000) Finished with full head of steam from third over and has to be considered in next race or two.

SOCIAL SCENE (NW1/3YOF) Pulled early, brushed to the top and jogged away. Should be able to take another.

Friday, May 17

DOCS HOSS (CLMHCP10/12000) Was victimized by poor outer flow rallying for a distant fourth over  but closed a ton once into gear.

CHARDONAY SEELSTER (NW3FM) Sat on the rail in traffic to the lane, angled out too late but finished fast. Beaten favorite should be along in time next outing.

DUKE OF DONEGAL (NW5000) Left quick to the top, yielded and was shuffled back by a few lead changes, rallied well in the lane to dig into the odds-on favorite's big lead.

BOAT HOUSE ROW (NW5000FM) Fanned very wide into the lane and ate up yardage but just had too far to come.

Saturday, May 18

SIM BROWN (NW8000) Left, floated a bid wide into the turn, got parked, chased uncovered to the final turn and tired At 40-1. Should find a better spot and with any kind of luck can be a threat.

STATE TREASURER (NW14000) Made a huge three-wide brush to gain the top passing the half and drew away easily. The well bet, much the best favorite should be able to snare another.

E W FISHER (NW8000) Absolutely totatalled teh field on the front end on a night when fronte end speed was fading. Bias buster has to be considered again.

WARRAWEE NONSUCH (NW3) Was looped to the lead, tucked the pocket for a shortlived stay, pulled, brushed to the top, met the short pressed favorite's stern challenge to the late stages but was a game tiring second best over the closer favoring track.

Monday, May 20

AMIGO DE GRANDE (PRF) Made a huge late rush to the wire but had too far to come.

SCOTT ROCKS (NW2) Was buried and seemingly in dire straights entering the stretch, angled out, set down finished fast to get it in the last steps and should be able to launch same bid in next race.

MAVEN (VERSATILITY) Put up a track record in convincing victory in her division of 1st round action.

GEORGE JETTISON (NW2) Rallied through the lane in :26 4/5 over the sloppy track to get up for 2nd at 23-1 and get long look for a win in near future.
