Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from March 28 - March 31

Email

Friday, March 28

NEILS GOLDEN GIRL (NW1) Sat on the rail and had too much traffic to weave through to give it his best shot.

VICTHECHICK (NW2FM) got shuffled around tired ones in the final turn, cleared after the fact with good pace.

MAKE SOME MEMORIES (NW2FM) Left well, took the lead but was shuffled back badly, found some early stretch room but had too far to come.

D GS PESQUERO (NW12000FM) Got shuffled in the final turn, found room inside with good finish but it was too late.

Saturday, March 29

OUR MOJO (NW3) Was the only horse to go down the road on a `death to speed' night and did it with strong finish indicating he can be hard to beat in next.

ORDER BY COMMANDER (NW3500) Gave it the old college try in last going down the highway but ran out of gas near the line. Should be tough to deny on a more favorable evening.

OZZY OZZY (NW3) Was buried and raging in the final turn, got lucky when the pocket horse pulled, found clearance, hit the pedal and exploded home.

JENNA CASIMIR (NW7000FM) Had to rally from Mars following a bad flow of cover and flew home strongly only to miss a neck at the wire.

Monday, March 31

COLD CERTIFIED (NW13000) Went down the road as far as he could at 12-1 in last and bested all but the second over, stronger favorite.

ROCKIN WITH DEWEY (NW4) Was looped off the gate, rallied to the lead, got shuffled back, hit a good stride late in the lane only to be nipped by the odds-on favorite and should do better in next.

PARTY DONT STOP (NW1) Put in a game rally and was gaining too late on the tiring winner. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

DREYDL HANOVER (NW2000) Was too far back to consider heading home but closed well between horses to pass a few foes in the lane.
