SAMILLION DOLLARS (CLMHCP10/12000) Followed the winner through the lane in last and just missed.
R U FOR ME (NW2FM) Sat in the pocket and was shuffled back when the leader gave way. Finished well but too late.
MEGO MOSS (NW2) Went down the road as far as he could over a tiring track but could not stay the course. Beaten favorie could be the one over a more favorable track.
CORPORATE SHARRRK (CLMHCP10/12000) Chased the well bet favored winner to the wire and can make his own mark in next race or two.
Saturday, February 9
BOLD DECISION (NW4) Rallied strongly and gamely from 3rd over but was outfinished by the well bet second choice. Should be able to nail a win soon.
ANDERLECHT (NW14000) Went down the road much the best in quick mile in last and should step up with another winning effort.
AS DUHARAS (NW5000) Held gamely off the pocket trip to be second best to the favored winner and appears to be sharp enough to earn a victory.
TWIN B IMPRESSIVE (NW3) Finished strongest to nail the favorite in last and seems to be good enough to take another.
WINDFALL BLUECHIP (NW25500) was 4th over in strong outer flow and finished with plenty of pace in most recent.
CELEBRITY COWBOY (NW8000) Had no shot from far back but launched a strong stretch rally and earns a look in next race or two.
Monday, February 11
CHEYENNE MOISHE (NW5000) Sat raging in the pocket, got lucky and squeezed through late. Should take another with any kind of trip.
MEADOWVIEW ARTY (NW6600) Set own pace in last, responded to early stretch taps and drew off as second favorite in short field. Has to earn a look in next off ease of victory.
TEE MAN (NW2) Had to move wide much too early and was caught out there for a very long time.
PEPPYS PAL (NW2) Finished full of pace from second over at 26-1 chasing the sharp, strong favorite to the wire.
Best Bets
BIG JOHN B takes a short drop off the claim and layoff, which could be viewed as a negative, but he has some decent works for this return and he has a decent-sized Beyer edge against this group; tactical speed should help him work out a favorable trip. SKIFFS BREWMEISTER merits respect off that last win and figure, his best yet; dangerous if he's able to take another step forward. BRODY BOY finished off the board in his turf debut but he earned a decent figure despite running 7th there, and he did endure a fairly tough trip; most recent workout at Parx indicates he retains his form.
