Email

Thursday, February 25

FLAHERTY (NW1) beaten favorite was parked to the lead, set a good clip, dug in gamely but was nipped on the wire on a night when speed was folding. Should be tough in next.

FANCOURT (NW1) was uncovered, made up good ground to the third panel, rallied gamely and caught the top one on the wire in his well-bet parimutual debut.

JENS CREDIT (NW1FM) left to a tuck, pulled to the third panel, brushed powerfully to the lead, opened up nearly five and looked home free only to tire in the late stages. It was a tiring track and this filly should rack up a score in next race and/or two.

DREAMFAIR MESA (NW2) brushed to the third panel, took the lead, opened a length or two but tired. Beaten favorite can atone quickly.

Friday, February 26

WIZARD OF OSNEY (NW3) tucked early, pulled to the third panel as the lead changed, rallied gamely and just missed the favorite.

NEVERSAIDIWASSWEET (CLMHCP8/10000FM) beaten favorite put in a solid down road effort but was nipped on the wire over a tiring track by the fastest last quarter of the evening.

PARTY IN ROME (NW2FM) yielded, retook, set the pace under pressure and could not last. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

MISSYS GA GA (NW2) tucked early, pulled to the half, brushed strong to the lead, opened up a bunch and held safe eased through the lane.

VICS ROYAL LADY (NW2) took the lead, yielded for the pocket but got a bad shuffle going to the third panel, lost any chance but finished with trot.

BOOZER BRUISER (NW2FM) had too much traffic to clear after pulling into a blindswitch heading home but was more than willing with late clearance.

Saturday,February 27

KINETIC KING (NW6500) tucked early, pulled to the half, brushed to the lead and that was that.

MEGO MOSS (NW6500) closed best of all from an impossible spot to get up for second at 32-1.

ERLE DALE N (PRFHCP) chased the odds on favorite home with good pace.

HOUSE OF TERROR (NW3) went down the road to the last step. Beaten favorite can get back on track in next.

EASY LOVER HANOVER (NW2) wired the field looking like he can take another.

Monday, February 29

PISCEAN (NW2) went down the road and was second best to the pocket-sitting favorite.

FOREVER JUST (NW4000) was parked the mile uncovered, challenged hard the middle half and tired.

BURNIN MONEY (NW10000) won going away and is always tough.

WARRAWEE PROTON (CLMHCP12/15000) wired the field all wrapped up coming home and should have plenty left to get it done again.

AMBLE OVER HANOVER (CLMHCP10/15000) left to the top, yielded, got shuffled, pulled uncovered, challenged and proved to be second best to the pocket-sitting favorite.
