Thursday, February 11

MAJOR UNIQUE (NW1) left to the top, set the pace under some pressure, shook off the challenge but was thwarted by the late rally of the fresher winner.

P H KENNY (NW2) tucked early, pulled to the half, brushed to the top, rallied gamely but the odds-on winner nailed him in the last step.

MONEY MAGIC (NW2FM) beaten favorite got rough at the start, lost some steps, settled slowly into stride, gapped and never had a shot.

HP BLACK SHADOW (CLM10000) came strong uncovered, challenged and had aim but was outkicked by the tripped out pocket sitting favorite.

Friday, February 12

OLIVIAS WAY (NW3100FM) was used to the lead, yielded, got shuffled, pulled and followed the brushing winner, chased with good pace and earns look in next.

REGALLY READY (NW15000FM) finished full of pace from far, far back in last outing.

BOAT HOUSE ROW (NW6000FM) was parked the mile from post eight, challenged a long way and tired. A better trip should make her a force to be reckoned with.

NEVERSAIDIWASSWEET (CLMHCP8/10000FM) put in a commendable down the road effort in last over a snowy track where speed was folding and held a comfortable second best to the fresher late closing odds-on winner.

KATIES BEACH (NW2FM) came uncovered at 40-1, rallied to take a lead entering the stretch and proved second best to the tripped out odds-on winner.

Monday, February 15

LINDYS TRU GRIT (NW18500) finished full of trot from third over to win going away on a night when front end speed held well and pocket horses got there share of wins. This one's late rush to victory has to be noted.

SIR MACHALOT (NW3600) left and tucked, pulled to the half, challenged uncovered and was strong through the lane.

JAYSPORT ON TH EDGE (NW1) got shuffled along the way, came out in the final turn into a blindswitch, cleared late and closed powerfully but had lost his best chance.

JUST HENRY (CLMHCP10/12000) was parked early, tucked, pulled and grind up, closed gamely but tired in the late stages. A better trip would get him closer in the photo.

CHICAGO HANOVER (CLMHCP10/12000) beaten favorite had too far to come but should make amends in quick order.
