Thursday, December 6
TWIN B ELITE (CLMHCP3YOF) Sat pocket and jogged in last. She should be able to take another even facing somewhat higher priced claimers.
LIFETIME JEWEL (NW1/2-3YOF) Rallied uncovered, pressed the well bet winner the last three eighths and was second best.
O U SEXY GUY (NW2) Powered home in last to win going away and stepping up to score again seems more than likely.
GOOD LUCK KATHY (NW2FM) Finished full of pace to get up for second as the favored winner got awaywith her own fractions.
Friday, December 7
A SPECIAL LADY (NW8000FM) Would have won if she cleared a split second earlier.
MACHET ROCKEET (NW3FM) Had no room and seemed more than willing to make a move in the late battle for the gold.
CONTINUAL VELOCITY (NW13000FM) Was used hard to the lead, meet pressure and gutted out second over a tiring track. Beaten favorite can atone with any kind of racing luck.
JEET SPEED (NW25000FM) Showed just that in the late stages to pass a bunch of horses in the lane but had too far to come.
Saturday, December 8
CAUGHT CHEATIN (NW3) Got caught parked, challenged a long way over a speed favoring track and tired.
WORLD AWAY (NW25000)Rushed up uncovered, challenged hard, had a lead while parked but tired heading home. Vet is tough enough but may have been in a bit deep in last.
MCCEDES (NW8000) Got locked up heading home, cleared too late. Should find a spot soon.
SING FOR ME GEORGE (NW4) Rushed home from nowhere in last and was clearly pacing fastest of all but had. Beaten favorite should be closer when it counts in next.
Monday, December 10
LEONIDA DE VIE (NW8000) Closed strongly from back at 44-1 missing less than a length.
CAMCRUISER HANOVER (NW1/2-3YO) Flashed some late foot in maiden voayage and should find winners circle.
GOBAN (NW3) Had no shot from 5th over, followed the wide flow in the lane, closed fastest of all but had one too many cloud to navigate around.
BLUE CHIP SUNSHINE (NW2) Sat on the rail and closed willingly after escaping a tiring horse in the last steps.
Best Bets
MAGNIFCENTMILLION is obviously not today's "best bet" because of his exploits, other than running against Belmont Stakes-bound Giant Finish and allowance winner Glowing Ember last fall; rather, it's more an indictment against the others, along with the fact that the lone special-weight dropper is bred to love any moisture in the track. BROADWAY HAT is third off the bench for meet-leading trainer who saddled four winners Thursday; the half-empty view is he has burned chalk players time and again since last May.
