Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Dec. 5 - Dec. 11

Saturday, December 5

JULERICA (NW2) beaten favorite got off slowly and could see it all to the final turn, stepped it up but was much too late.

MY MY HEY HEY (AUTUMN FINAL) trotter was carefully handled off the gate, settled to the rear, pulled and made a huge brush to the lead, drew away powerfully and was much the best.

Monday, December 7

FRESH N FAST (NW4000) finished that way from last but had to come between horses to do it.

J CS JAKE (NW7500) was moving strong at the end but the beaten favorite had a few too many steps to make up.

IN SECRET (NW3) closed strong and game from edge of the moon in last to miss it all by only a half.

JUANITAS FURY (NW3) was in too tight through the late stages to give best shot but seemed to be able to garner more of the purse.

BIG RICH (NW4) wired the field in last, seems sharp enough to can take another.

Thursday, December 10

CRACKLIN ROSIE (NW1/2-3YOF) tucked early, pulled to the half, brushed to the top, set a good clip and dug in stubbornly on a tough night for speed and proved second best.

KILMER ROAD (NW1/2-3YO) was out a long way grinding to the top, opened up nearly four heading home but could not last. Beaten favorite could get it done in next.

LITTLE STUIE (NW1/2-3YO) rushed to the top at 23-1, set the pace under long, hard pressure and gamely resisted until the last steps.

SABINE PASS (NW1/2-3YO) was only front-stepping winner on the evening and earns respect for that effort.

Friday, December 11

MAPPOS MOENHAY (NW4100FM) brushed to the lead coming to the half and waved good bye to the field winning well in hand and should take another.

LATOKA (NW4000) tired in wire to wire effort at 28-1 and could be tougher if a bit tighter.

MS MAC N CHEESE (NW30000FM) sat pocketed and ready to pounce but the traffic was too much to weave through, around or over.

DEMAND AN ANSWER (NW2) was parked forever, grinded up uncovered, and tired. Tough luck trotter needs only get a better trip.

OUR HOT MAJORETTE (NW14000FM) battled on the front end a long way but proved best. Will be hard to beat next outing
