Email

Thursday, April 25

ROCKIN WITH DEWEY (CELIAS COUNSEL) Beaten favorite was best in her 2nd leg division but too much too long to launch her bid. Beaten favorite will be more forwardly placed in next.

BOP TO THE TOP (CELIAS COUNSEL) Did just that in her division rallying from the ends of the earth to win in quick time.

MARATOGA (OntS) Motored home from cloud nine or perhaps even 10 in last week's second place finish gobbling up foes and lengths with dynamic rally.

PRETTYNDANGEROUS (OntS)Sat in the pocket too tight to offer her best. Cleared late but it wasn't soon enough.

Friday, April 26

SEE R CHIN WIN (NW2) Left well, tucked, pulled and rallied uncovered, challenged to the lane, dug in and was able to hold well for second as a highflying fast finisher nailed the win.

PUTNAM ATTACK (CLM10000) Was nowhere to the lane, rallied fast from 5th over and earns a long look in next.

DREAMFAIR ECLIPSE (NW3FM) Beaten favorite fanned wide from 4th over, hit overdrive and passed all but the tripped out winner.

MEMUMSNOTNICEE (NW14000FM) Rallied on the rail, wiggled off, scooted around traffic, hit the cones again and finished with good speed so don't ignore.

Saturday, April 27

WILD DRAGON (NW5000) Finished fast between horses in last and will be hard to fault in next  race or two.

SLIP INTO GLIDE (NW8000) Sat the pocket crying out for room but nothing developed until the last steps.

SPEED AGAIN (NW14000) Closed well from a distant 4th over in last and should be considered in near future.

SILVER DRAGON (CLMHCP12/15000) Was pinned in the pocket with pace and could have made his presencd felt in most recent outing.

Monday, April 29

HI EDITH (CLM12,000) Was abused in last. Retook twice, faced pressure the last three-eighths and tired. Should be tougher with any kind of racing luck.

ROCKNROLL HARMONY (NW2) Why he was almost 20 lengths back has to be determined but he was on all cylinders through the lane powering up a :26.3 last panel.

BREES CREEK (NW2) Fanned so wide into the lane it appeared  `railbirds' were reaching out to touch him and he gave them a rousing finish once straightened out.

LIFEIMITTATESART (NW10000) Was caught fourth over in a dead flow and never had a chance but rallied gamely passing a bunch of foes in the stretch.
