Thursday, April 11

MARQUISE DE SARAH (BLOSSOM) Put in an impressive second best effort leaving and tucking, got shuffled a bit, pulled, brushed to the top, went down the road and only bested by the pocketsitting odds-on favorite.

K T BIRD (NW1) Rushed home strong and fast in last from third over over to breeze by the tiring pacesetter and should be able to take another.

FOOLISH MIND (NW2FM) Sat twisting and turning trying to find his way out the pocket and cleared a few steps too late.

OOZIES FINALS (OntS) Was forced to go wide in the final turn and finally hit her best stride too late to pull off the upset at 31-1 but has to earn a long look in next race or two.

Friday, April 12

MACH A WISH (NW8000FM) Brushed to command and jogged in last with a repeat looming on the horizon.

STRONG HOPE (CLMHCP20/25000) Rallied strongly through the lane coming for a very distant 4th over to the and managed to be second best to the runaway winner.

SHADY CAM (CLMHCP12/15000) Slid off the rail, took the outside course with wicked rally but too far to come in most recent outing.

D GS TINKERBELL (NW16000FM) Chased the speedy winner home from the pocket in all out effort and should find her own field soon.

Saturday, April 13

FIRE ON THE WATER (NW5000) Was absolutely scorched on the front end in last in vicious succession of challenges and tired but only missed by 1 1/4 so keep him in mind.

SING FOR ME GEORGE (PRF) Made a game rally from uncovered chasing the tiring favorite home and nearly got there missing by a head.

LUCKY TERROR (NW5000) Romped despite being parked to the lead and should be a repeat winner.

VALDERO HANOVER (YOUTHFUL) Rallied well but had too far to come and too much to beat as the winner continued his hot hand.

Monday, April 15

SCOTT ROCKS (NW2) Put in a sterling uncovered effort in last chasing the leader home with good pace indicating he can win in next race or two.

STAR RUFFNREADY (NW14000) Came uncovered at the odds on favorite in last and was easily second best.

MAJOR GRACE (CLMHCP20/30000) Was looped to the lead, tucked the pocket, cleared a step too late to launch best bid but managed a game, nailed on the wire, rally while slithering between horses.

FOLK ART (NW1) Followed the winner wide in the final turn escaping a clogged uncovered horse and finished with good pace to earn a look in next.
