Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from April 10 - April 14

Thursday, April 10

BOKNOWS MOMNGRANNY (CLM8000) Jogged in last and should step up to earn another victory.

DOCS HOSS (CLM8000) Rallied gamely through the lane to get up for 2nd and earns a look in next race or two.

EINSTEINS BEST (NW1) Roared through the lane in last to win going away and can hardly be discounted in next effort.

NEEDLECREST (NW1) Closed well from second over and was a game 2nd getting up over the pacesetters but was no match to a fast closing winner.

Friday, April 11

MARQUISE DE SARAH (NW26000FM) Put in a convinicing three move win in last and will win another or two real soon.

JENNA CASIMIR (NW8700FM) Was parked and stung hard to the lead past the half, set the pace under steady pressure and held with authority in strong score.

M G JADE (CLM10000FM) Flew home from a distant last place to just miss the favorite at the wire and earns long look in next race or two.

BAROCKEY (NW4800FM) Was parked to the top from post 10, set the pace under pressure from two different foes and held at long as she could. Do not ignore this beaten favorite.

WILDCAT HANNA (NW3FM) Tenth at the top of the stretch off by about 15 this high-flying closing miss lost the whole thing by just one length and will not be 18-1 in next.

Saturday, April 12

LIGHTS GO OUT (NW3FM) Suffered through the worst hard luck trip when she was stuck 3rd over behind horrid cover and had to rally home chasing the well rated pacesetting winner. Beaten favorite will atone.

NICKLE BAG (NW16000) Was a strong second best coming uncovered against the odds on favorite.

UP FRONT N CRAZY (NW3) Set the pace under the favorite's determined pressure, shook him off but was nailed by a flying closer.

STRIKER ACE (NW2) Tucked early, improved to the pocket at the half, chased the odds-on favorite home with game trot and earns a look in next.

Monday, April 14

MACHMILLIONS (NW2) Took the top, yielded and was shuffled back, pulled in the final turn into a blindswitch, ducked in late and closed well but had lost best chance.

WILDCAT BOBBY (CLMHCP8/10000) Sat, saved to the lane, pulled in traffic, cleared the blindswitch in the last steps.

THOR SEELSTER (NW2) Pulled past the half, rushed to challenge, battled to the lane, took over and drew away strongly.

BIG SURF (NW1) Brushed early, gained the top and put in a good front stepping effort getting away heading home but tired and lost it on the wire. Beaten favorite should be tighter in next.
