Race 4 - $75,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet: MUSCLE GEM (3rd)

Spot Play: LETS GO GET EM (12th)

Race 1

(9) ZORGWIJK JOCK is fresh off setting a track record at Western Fair and is on top of his game right now. He comes out of the Moreau barn, moves onto this circuit and at this level I feel he is a top threat. (10) PAIGING KADABRA won from post ten last week and has been assigned the same post again. That marked his first win of the season and once again is a top contender for high percentage trainer Gallucci. (1) MOPEY COREY has been knocking on the door in his last two starts and draws the rail. He'll need the right trip, but he has a good record this season and likely will offer a price.

Race 2

(3) GREYSTONE LADYLIKE paid a very good price last week as she scored the victory at this Preferred level. She has a great record this season and a short field only helps her chances as she usually races from off-the-pace. (1) VOELZ HANOVER has improved significantly since moving into the Johnson barn two starts ago. She's dropped time, draws inside and finished second in this class last week. (4) LANESIDE LEXUS is a big, strong mare who will enjoy this large surface. She raced very well last year and posted a very good qualifier. I'm not sure what price she will offer, but she does have upset potential.

Race 3

(4) MUSCLE GEM remains undefeated in his career from three starts. He does move up in class, but has won each of his previous efforts in comfortable fashion. (10) WINDSONG INVINCEBL draws outside, but has a good record this season. She doesn't have the best gate-speed, but if she's well positioned turning for home, she's a factor. (1) BUDDY HALLY didn't put in the best effort last week, but he draws inside and has been improving with each start. He likely won’t offer a price again this week.

Race 4

(2) EVENING JOB once again has been claimed and is top contender in this class. He draws inside and has six wins from 13 starts this season. (7) DUKE DID IT drops in class and draws better. He usually races from off-the-pace and if he's not positioned too far back, I think he's very capable. (5) LIBERTYS BEST STAR has hit the board in five of his last six starts. He moves onto this circuit and gets Jamieson in the bike.

Race 5

(8) CAMS VAN GO raced very well last season and will make her 2013 debut for trainer O'Sullivan. She qualified well with a good final quarter and is capable of winning first start back. (7) SEASCAPE HANOVER has been racing very well and has hit the board in four of her last five starts. She remains at this level and was timed in a speedy 1:51 3/5. (4) PALM PATROL draws inside and like last week she might prefer a price. She tends to be inconsistent, but is a good option to consider for the triactor.

Race 6

(5) P L FANTASTIC comes out of the Don Mills Series and should be much more competitive in this class. He suffered a pair of bad post positions and was timed in 1:54 1/5 in his latest outing. (2) THE PRINCIPLE draws inside and comes out of the Allard barn. He moves into a condition event and raced very well last week to finish second. (8) LIMITLESS is a longshot, but Baillargeon's barn has been better in recent weeks. He was hard used last week to earn the front and with a better trip should turn into a better result.

Race 7

(8) FIRE UP THE MACH make a break for Allard in his first start, but has recently qualified and appears to be in top form. He's at a very competitive level, has gate-speed and gets Jamieson in the bike. (9) BEST EARS draws outside, but moves back into a claiming event, which he has proven to be very competitive at in the past. (7) MAJOR GRACE is lightly raced this season and shows gate-speed to be well positioned early. He shows terrific final quarters and Cirasuolo is a very capable trainer.

Race 8

(4) THANKYOUKESSEL was hard pressed last week around the final turn, but fended off all challengers en route to victory. That marked his first start of the campaign and although he moves up in class, he's very capable of winning. (2) KENNEL BUDDY draws much better and should get a much better trip this week. He'll likely be better placed and shows terrific final quarters this season. (8) ORDERINGIN didn't miss the board in nine starts last season and will make her 2013 debut. She comes out of the Johnson barn and qualified well.

Race 9

(1) ROCK OF LUCK has won two straight with a most recent victory in this class. He draws the same post again and once again is a top candidate. (4) AMBLE OVER HANOVER got a great trip last week en route to a second place finish. He draws well once again and Oliver will look to use the same tactics. He'll likely offer a higher price based on his record this season. (3) SHIPPS XPRCTANCY hasn't missed the board in each of his last six starts with five of those starts being at this level. He draws inside and shows gate-speed.

Race 10

(5) FARMERS TUITION is fresh off a World Record free-legged mare. She has been two-for-two since moving into the Moreau barn and although she moves up in class, she's a top contender. (1) DELICIOUSLYNAUGHTY draws inside and has been knocking on the door at this level in her last two starts. She gets Jamieson and comes out of the Gillis barn. (6) ST LADS PEEPER raced from off-the-pace last week and was timed in 1:51 1/5. She used a :26 2/5 final quarter and with a repeat effort, she's a good option.

Race 11

(3) ITS NO SECRET draws inside and had a very successful 2012 season. She qualified well with a :27 final quarter and I think she's ready to win first start back. (6) DREAMFAIR ECLIPSE usually races from off-the-pace and shows terrific final quarters. She has a great record this season and is always a contender in this class. (5) PAN LUIS OBISPO has five wins from seven starts last season and comes out of the McIntosh barn. She may offer a price and is a good option for the triactor.

Race 12

(3) LETS GO GET EM raced well last week and finished with a lot of pace. She draws better and if she's not positioned as far back, she's got a better chance. (8) EAT ME UP will make her third start of the season and should perform better. She drops in class and should be much better suited in here. (1) WINDSUN SOHO draws inside and will likely be considered a longshot. This is a wide-open race, but if she's not hard-used in the early going, she's a contender for the triactor.
