(6) REYS N A ROCKET paced a big mile to finish 2nd to the choice and, if the choice is going to get beat, this is the filly that will do it. (4) DRY CREEK IMAGE improved a bit last time, but she was still well behind the top two. She can close for a piece of this. (7) HONEST GAMBLER is worth a look for the exotics dropping in for a tag. Race 2 (5) HEAD TURNING JAG showed some mild late interest last time, but he had missed a month's action prior to that start and he returns quicker here and faces easier; top call. (8) JUSTASMALLTOWNGIRL could take this group a long way on the lead; using. (9) FLYING ISA N takes a big drop, but she's missed more than a month. I'll play to beat her unless she is ignored on the board, which is unlikely. (3) IHOLDON brings some decent form north. He can contend for a slice here. Race 3 (7) GERARDO paced a big mile off the bench to just miss last week and he should only be tighter for this. He gets my nod. (2) JK PRIDENJOY held the choice off in a good effort and he will likely be the one to catch when they turn for home here. (3) TREMENDOUS PLAY was the fastest winner and he could be tough here again if he can land in the pocket. (5) BURN OUT HANOVER is picked 4th here, despite shooting for five straight wins. This is a deep and contentious field. Race 4 (6) OLIVIAS WAY raced okay here last week, now she gets a huge driver change. Notice her stellar record last year; upset special. (10) E R RHONDA drifted into a rival late and was set back last week. Post 10 is obviously not much of an issue for her; using. (8) NO PANIC is in stellar form and can't be discounted in this spot. She won several times at Mohawk last summer. (9) KINDA LIKE HER can crack the exotics at a price here. Race 5 (1) ESCUELA should have lots in the tank for this start following two very mild tries from the 10-hole. Look for Hensley to get aggressive here in the third quarter. (9) SKY LAV fits this class well and comes off a tough, grinding win; the main danger. (5) UPVOTE HANOVER is worth a look on the barn change, but he may need a start after missing a month. (2) DEUCE DEUCE DEUCE is a good earner in this class and he could do here if he can trip out most of the way. Race 6 (7) YOU SAID IT was simply too far back last time, but he did have some good late pace to offer. I still think he can be one of the ones in this series. I'll give him one more chance here. (3) MY TEEN IDOL raced well with broken equipment the whole way last time. He has a big shot here. (2) ARTOFFICIAL FLAVOR should be much tighter here returning quicker. He would be no surprise. (4) HURRIKANE KINGCOLE isn't out of the question here, either, especially if he could land in the pocket early. Race 7 (3) HOT SPOT HANOVER paced a 56-flat middle 1/2 to get into contention last week and she pressed the leader the rest of the way, but she just couldn't close the deal. A better trip gets the job done here. (9) D GS PESQUERO won the last two times she raced in this class in December racing near the front, so, you know where she's heading at the start. (5) JUSTABIT MEAN drops and has upset possibilities. (10) TRACES OF PURPLE gets the switch to Moreau/Roy here, but post 10 will be tough to overcome, probably, especially with the filly to her direct left surely blasting at the start. Race 8 (5) TOPVILLE CHROME has the look of one that is going to try a more aggressive approach here and he can take these if he lays a bit closer early in the mile. (7) SHAGNWITHTHEDRAGON will take lots of play off his comeback effort and he's the one to fend off. (3) GILLYS BOY should get a good pace trip near the front, which makes him tough to leave off the late Pick 4. (1) CAROLINA MAGIC is still a maiden, but he does figure for at least a slice here. Race 9 (5) AMITYVILLE LINDY has the look of another successful Hudon reclamation project. Tonight could be the night that he pops. (9) MISSYS GA GA should go better now with a clean line out of the way. (4) MIGHTY NICKY drops to a level where he is usually dangerous; using. (1) CHESTNUT SCHOFIELD drew in due to a late scratch and he should be winging early. He is another to consider in a race where it makes sense to go price shopping. Race 10 (5) P L KALEIDOSCOPE has a super win in November that jumps off the page if you can look past her last three starts, two of which were in stakes series. I look for her to wake up here. (3) PLAY WITH PASSION looks tough moving inside; using. (2) CHECK MACH drops off a solid effort and she's in the mix here. (1) WONWHITESOCKWOMAN steps up off a solid score and she should at least make the ticket here. Race 11 (9) BERNADETTE returns to action at the lowest conditioned level and she should get put right into play by McNair vs. these; top call. (2) WALK TWO MOONS takes a big drop here. Notice she won at a level higher six starts back. She is a must-use here for me. (1) NAUGHTY LADY B was close at this level last time and she should get a similar trip and result here. (3) DANCING SHADOWS K was sharp here last fall and she should be a big price here; consider using underneath.
