OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Thursday's live racing program at Aqueduct was canceled because of snow that began falling around 9 a.m. The track remained open for simulcasting.

Because of Thursday's cancellation, there will be 10 races run at Aqueduct on Saturday.

Since Jan. 1, Aqueduct has canceled three full cards and two partial cards because of bad weather. One of those full cards was made up two days later.

Aqueduct's main track opening on March 14 - two days later than originally scheduled - will be dependent upon a break in the weather.

* Penn National canceled its Thursday night program because of poor weather. Penn National also canceled after the fourth race Wednesday night when jockeys refused to ride, complaining the surface was uneven.

* Beulah Park canceled the last three of its eight scheduled races Thursday afternoon because of a thaw and uneven racing surface.
