Preakness Stakes winner Exaggerator will shuttle to stand the 2018 Southern Hemisphere season at Haras Doña Icha in Calera de Tango, Chile.

Haras Doña Icha made the announcement on its social media channels.

Exaggerator, a son of Curlin, is based at WinStar Farm in Kentucky, and will stand for an advertised fee of $30,000 in 2018, his second season at stud. He covered 162 mares in his debut season, according to The Jockey Club's Report of Mares Bred, and got a solid lineup including Sacre Coeur, dam of Lady Eli; Emanating, dam of Grade 1 winner Boisterous; Irish Sovereign, dam of classic-placed Irish War Cry; Grade 1 winners including Belle Gallantey and Last Full Measure; and graded stakes winners including Disposablepleasure, Leah's Secret, and Silsita.

In addition to his 2016 Preakness Stakes victory, Exaggerator also won two other Grade 1 events, the Haskell Invitational and Santa Anita Derby, and finished second in the Kentucky Derby to attain Eclipse Award finalist status. He was also a multiple graded stakes winner as a juvenile, taking the Grade 2 Saratoga Special and Grade 3 Delta Jackpot, and finishing second in the Grade 1 Breeders' Futurity. He retired with earnings of more than $3.5 million.
