WinStar Farm in Versailles, Ky., is conducting a memorabilia auction on eBay.com, with 100 percent of proceeds going to several charities.

Among the items on offer through Wednesday, May 29, is a 24” by 36” shadow box commemorating WinStar’s graded stakes winner and Kentucky Derby third place finisher Revolutionary. The box contains a Kentucky Derby saddlecloth with the number three; a photo of Revolutionary; a pair of jockey goggles signed by Revolutionary’s Kentucky Derby rider, Calvin Borel; the official silks tag from the Kentucky Derby draw, also autographed by Borel and by Revolutionary’s trainer, Todd Pletcher; two official Kentucky Derby programs; a Kentucky Derby glass; and a Revolutionary button. Proceeds from this item will benefit the Woodford County Humane Society.

The online auction also includes authentic, worn halters from WinStar stallions Super Saver, winner of the 2010 Kentucky Derby; 2012 Arkansas Derby winner and Derby and Preakness runner-up Bodemeister; and 2000 Horse of the Year Tiznow. The sale of these items will benefit Heroes Night Out of Kentucky, the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, and the Backside Learning Center, respectively.

“We are hopeful this auction will make a difference with the money it raises, and we encourage all fans and Thoroughbred enthusiasts to support a good cause,” WinStar chief executive Elliott Walden said in announcing the auction.
