INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Willow O Wisp ended a three-race losing streak with a frontrunning win in Saturday's $100,000 at Hollywood Park. Ridden by Victor Espinoza, Willow O Wisp ($5) ran 1 1-16 miles on turf in 1:39.05, always leading by at least a length and winning by 1 1-4 lengths. Artiste Royale, a stakes winner in France last year, stalked Willow O Wisp and finished second, a nose in front of New Export. Red Fort, second in the 2005 Inglewood, finished fourth, losing by 1 1-2 lengths. Willow O Wisp set fractions of 23.88 and 47.17 seconds. He led by a length on the backstretch and 1 1-2 lengths in the stretch. Owned by Robert Alexander and trained by Vladimir Cerin, Willow O Wisp, 4, has won 6 of 16 starts and $569,240. He has won four graded turf stakes in his career, including the Grade 2 Del mar Derby last summer.
