Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Ky. has released the its advertised stud fees for the upcoming 2015 breeding season. Topping the list is Will Take Charge, a 4-year-old son of Unbridled’s Song and the champion sophomore male of 2013, who will stand his debut season for an advertised fee of $30,000. “We are extremely excited about the prospects for this coming year,” said Grant Williamson, director of stallion nominations and sales at Three Chimneys. “Champion Will Take Charge headlines what we believe to be some strong offerings for breeders. He is a $3.9-million earning champion that distinguished himself at the top of his class. But you have to see him to believe him – he’s an amazing specimen to go along with proven talent and Broodmare of the Year Take Charge Lady is his dam. It doesn’t get any better than that.” Also making his stallion debut in 2015 will be Grade 1 winner Strong Mandate, a 3-year-old son of Tiznow who will stand for $10,000. “Strong Mandate is another exciting addition to Three Chimneys,” Williamson said. “He is Tiznow’s only Grade 1-winning two-year-old colt, he was one of the leading juveniles of his generation before injury took him off the Triple Crown trail, and his pedigree is stellar.” The fees for returning stallions will remain unchanged from 2014, led by Exchange Rate and Sky Mesa, who will each stand for $20,000. “One of the reasons I joined Three Chimneys was because of the exceptional energy at the farm,” Williamson said. “My goal is to spearhead a customer-centric approach to our stallion business which puts our customers first.
