Leading Florida sire Wildcat Heir will stand for a higher fee of $10,000 next year, but most of the 13 other stallions at Journeyman Stud in Ocala, Fla., will remain at their 2010 fee levels in 2011.

The only other exception in Consolidator, whose fee decreases from $5,000 to $4,000.

Wildcat Heir stood for $8,000 in 2010. A 10-year-old Forest Wildcat horse, he leads Florida's sire rankings with such representatives as 2010 graded winner Richiegirlgonewild and six other stakes-winners, including Derwin's Star, Karmageddon, Dances with Ashley, and others.

The farm also will add the sire of Awesome Feather, winner of this year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, to its roster. That stallion, Awesome of Course, relocates from Oklahoma and gets a $5,000 fee. The other new stallion at Journeyman in 2011 is Kiss the Kid, who starts there at $3,500.

Journeyman's other stallions and their fees for the coming breeding season are Bwana Charlie, $2,500; Circular Quay, $6,500; Cowtown Cat, $4,000; Exclusive Quality, $4,000; Hear No Evil, $3,500; Indy Wind, $2,500; Mass Media, $2,000; Saint Anddan, $4,500; Sweet Return, $5,000; and Teuflesberg, $3,500.
