Website relaunch aids potential horse owners

TheGreatestGame.com, a website designed to recruit and retain new owners for Thoroughbred racing, has relaunched with a bolstered multimedia advertising campaign and a new website, it was announced Wednesday by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association.

TheGreatestGame.com is a joint partnership of the NTRA, Keeneland, TOBA, The Blood-Horse, and The Jockey Club Information System's equineline.com.

Consumers can visit TheGreatestGame.com to learn about Thoroughbred racehorse ownership. The site is designed to be an interactive educational resource for potential new owners, with offerings that include consumer research and demographics.

The new campaign also includes radio, print and signage ads plus television commercials designed to increase visibility on networks such as CNBC, CBS, and ESPN.

The resources of TheGreatestGame.com are available to support the efforts of

Thoroughbred industry entities that work to recruit new owners. New-owner

recruiting kits are being prepared for each NTRA-member racetrack.
