Voodoo Dancer flawless

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - For the second time in six months, trainer Christophe Clement has plundered a turf stakes at Hollywood Park.

On Monday, Voodoo Dancer won her second stakes in Monday's $150,000 Flawlessly Stakes at Hollywood Park. Last November, the Clement-trained Charge d'Affaires won the Citation Handicap in the upset.

Voodoo Dancer ran 1 1/8 miles on turf in 1:48.29, finishing 2 1/2 lengths in front of Innit, the 2-1 favorite.

Jockey Corey Nakatani had Voodoo Dancer well placed throughout in the Flawlessly. "She was pretty keen," Nakatani said. "In the backstretch, I put her where I wanted to be and sat on her. The main thing was I wanted to get her settled. Turning for home, I let her kick and she did."

Voodoo Dancer ($8.60) was a late addition to the Flawlessly field after owners Green Hills Farm paid a $7,500 supplemental entry Friday.
