Virtual inspection of Melnyk's Winding Oaks mares available
Fasig-Tipton and Taylor Made Sales will provide potential buyers with the ability to virtually inspect selected offerings from prominent owner-breeder Eugene Melnyk's Winding Oaks Farm consignment to next week's Fasig-Tipton Kentucky winter mixed sale.
A group of 28 broodmares and racing or broodmare prospects will be offered at the Feb. 11 sale in Lexington, Ky., with Taylor Made acting as agent. The bulk of the consignment is currently at Winding Oaks in Ocala, Fla., with plans to ship to the sale on Feb. 7.
The virtual inspection includes a pedigree, pedigree analysis, and a brief conformation video of each mare. To view the offerings, click here.
Among the Winding Oaks offerings are Grade 1 winner Pool Land, in foal to Smart Strike; Canadian champion Sealy Hill, in foal to Distorted Humor; graded stakes winner Gemswick Park, in foal to Tiznow; and Sovereign Award finalist Roxy Gap, offered as a racing or broodmare prospect.
The single-session FTK winter mixed sale begins at 10 a.m. Eastern on Monday, Feb. 11 at the Newtown Paddocks facility.
