Buy Sell Hold wins her career debut by 4 1/2 lengths at Keeneland on Thursday.

Freshman sire Violence was represented by his first winner from his first starter on Thursday, as Buy Sell Hold was a 4 1/2-length winner of a Keeneland maiden.

The filly, who is out of the stakes-winning Unbridled's Song mare Melody Lady, covered the 4 1/2 furlongs in 51.84 seconds. She was co-bred by Hill 'n' Dale, which stands Violence in Kentucky, and was consigned by that outfit's sales wing at the 2016 Keeneland September yearling sale. J. Kirk and Judy Robison purchased her for $67,000, and sent her to trainer Steve Asmussen.

Violence is one of three freshman sires this year for Hill 'n' Dale, all Grade 1 winners as juveniles. The son of Medaglia d'Oro scored his signature victory in the CashCall Futurity, capping an unbeaten 2-year-old campaign in which he also won the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes. He was second by a half-length to eventual Kentucky Derby winner Orb in the following season's Grade 2 Fountain of Youth Stakes.
