Grade 1 winner Pomeroy, whose graded winners include Pomeroys Pistol and Flashpoint, will move from Vinery Florida to Vinery New York for the 2013 breeding season, Vinery announced Monday.

The 11-year-old Boundary horse stood at Vinery Florida this year for a $10,000 advertised fee. Vinery New York hasn’t announced his Empire State fee yet but will do so before the Breeders’ Cup, according to farm officials.

Pomeroy’s stakes performers include 2012 stakes-placed runners Positive Response, Mel Beach, Bama Rose, and Stop the Spending. Pomeroy is out of the Seeking the Gold winner Questress, who also produced the stakes-placed Arch filly Acquileia.
