Email

Box Score, an unraced full brother to young Kentucky sire Temple City, will enter stud at Milky Way Farm in Temecula, Calif. for the 2017 breeding season, where he will stand for an advertised fee of $1,000.

The 6-year-old son of Dynaformer was hampered by injury throughout his attempts to begin his ontrack career as a homebred for Spendthrift Farm and trainer Carla Gaines, most recently turning in a four-furlong breeze in 50.60 on Oct. 25 at Santa Anita.

Box Score is out of the unraced Danzig mare Curriculum, also bred by Spendthrift owner B. Wayne Hughes. Curriculum's three foals to race are all winners. Temple City is a Grade 3 winner and stands at Spendthrift Farm in Lexington, Ky.

Curriculum is out of the French Group 1 winner Macoumba, making her a half-sister to Spendthrift’s cornerstone sire Malibu Moon and Grade 3-placed Positively. The extended family also includes French Group 1 winner Septieme Ciel and Grade 3 winner Worth Repeating.
