Uh Oh Bango to stand in California

Multiple graded stakes winner Uh Oh Bango will begin his stud career at E.A. Ranches in California.

Multiple graded stakes winner Uh Oh Bango will enter stud for the 2014 season at E.A. Ranches in Ramona, Calif. A stud fee will be announced soon.

The 6-year-old Arizona-bred son of Top Hit won five of 20 career starts, earning $691,512. Winner of the Prairie Meadows Freshman Stakes as a juvenile, Uh Oh Bango earned Iowa's Horse of the Year honors for 2009. He also finished second in the Grade 3 Iroquois and Delta Jackpot – the latter by a neck – during his 2-year-old season.

More recently, Uh Oh Bango captured the Grade 3 Berkeley in 2011 and last year took the Grade 2 San Pasqual. He also finished second behind Game On Dude in the Grade 2 San Antonio and third in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap last year. He was bred and campaigned by Richard Owens’ Triple AAA Ranch and trained by Kory Owens.

Uh Oh Bango is one of six winners from as many starters out of the French Deputy mare French Debutante. He is a full brother to restricted stakes winners Top Debutante and French Hit and a half-brother to multiple stakes winner and $500,000 earner EZ Dreamer.
