Email

U S Ranger will relocate to Rancho San Miguel in San Miguel, Calif., where he will stand the 2015 breeding season for an advertised fee of $3,000.

The 10-year-old son of Danzig previously stood at WinStar Farm in Versailles, Ky. He is the sire of two crops of racing age. He has sired three stakes winners to date: Grade 3 winners Solitary Ranger and Lawn Ranger; and Australian Group 3 winner Get the Nod.

U S Ranger won 5 of 19 starts for earnings of $481,775, highlighted by stakes wins in France and Ireland, as well as Group 1 placings in England and France and Grade/Group 3 placings in Ireland and the U.S.

Bred in Kentucky by Joseph Allen, U S Ranger is out of the Red Ransom mare My Annette, who is the dam of five winners from seven foals to race. His second dam is Grade 1 winner Andover Way, who is the pivot point for notable horses including prominent sire Dynaformer, Grade 1 winner and sire Offlee Wild, and Grade/Group 2 winners Lines of Battle, Homebound, Sangrita, Silent Times, and Supremo.

U S Ranger will stand as property of Marsha Naify’s Liberty Road Stables.
