LEXINGTON, Ky. - Three fillies and two colts had the fastest eighth-mile workout time of 10.20 seconds Saturday at the first of two under-tack previews for the Ocala breeders' Sales Company's March select 2-year-old auction.

The breeze show took place on the synthetic surface at the OBS facility in Ocala, Fla.

The fastest fillies over an eighth-mile were Hip No. 70, a Forest Wildcat-Clever Maid filly consigned by the Flying Fish agency; Hip No. 71, a With Distinction-Clever Moranda filly offered by the Halcyon Hammock Farm agency; and Hip No. 104, an Orientate-Energise filly from Nick de Meric, agent's consignment. Colts that achieved the same time were Hip No. 93, a Smart Strike-Dixie Holiday colt from the agency of Niall Brennan Stables, agent, and Hip No. 125, a son of Congaree and Fort Lauderdale offered by McKthan Bros., agent.

A Stormy Atlantic-Emptythetill colt put up the fastest quarter-mile time of 21.20 seconds. That was Hip No. 102, the Derby Dreams agency's half-brother to 2010 Kentucky Derby hopeful Conveyance. That colt has won the Grade 3 Southwest and Grade 3 San Rafael Stakes this year.

Hip Nos. 1-170 worked at Saturday's under-tack preview, and Hip Nos. 171-340, as well as Hip Nos. 35 and 166, were to take to the track Sunday at the second under-tack show. Both sessions were postponed from March 11-12 after severe weather hit the Ocala area. Sunday's under-tack show was to start at 8 a.m.

The OBS March select sale is set for Tuesday and Wednesday at the OBS auction pavilion. Tuesday's opening session will start at 2 p.m. Wednesday's final session will begin at 11 a.m.
