A pair of Florida-bred juveniles each breezed a furlong in 9 4/5 seconds on Thursday to lead the first of four under-tack preview shows for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. June sale of 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age. The breeze shows take place on the Ocala Training Center’s all-weather Safetrack surface. A filly by You Luckie Mann and a colt by Scat Daddy tied for the fastest one-furlong time. The filly, named Diamond Gold, is being consigned by Champions of the Future as agent. She is from the third crop of Florida stallion You Luckie Mann, a stakes-winning son of Exchange Rate, and is the first foal out of the winning Evansville Slew mare Party of Eight. This is the final crop for Scat Daddy, the sire of Triple Crown hopeful Justify. His standout colt from Thursday’s breeze show, consigned by Top Line Sales as agent, is out of the Gone West mare Satulah. Offered as agent by Price Thoroughbreds, she is out of the winning Bates Motel mare Motel Lass, the dam of stakes winners Stormin' Lyon and Quick Flip.                              Mo Mississippi, an Uncle Mo colt consigned by Gayle Woods as agent, worked three furlongs in 32 2/5 seconds to lead a handful of horses who worked that distance. The colt is out of the Artie Schiller mare Mississippi Queen, a half-sister to Grade 1 winner and stakes producer Asi Siempre.
