Starting for her third trainer since early October, Trick's Pic won her first stakes in the $110,300 Tuzla Handicap at Santa Anita.

Trick's Pic ($14.40) won the Gradeo3, one-mile turf race by two lengths over I Can See, rallying from fourth to finish in 1:35.09. Trick's Pic was ridden by Victor Espinoza, a replacement for Corey Nakatani, who missed the race after sustaining a collarbone injury during training hours on Saturday.

Espinoza had Trick's Pic well behind an early pace of 23.30 and 46.10 seconds set by Unspoken Word and Live Life. Trick's Pic moved closer on the second turn and took the lead with a three-wide rally in the stretch.

Good Mood, the 5-2 favorite, finished third in the field of eight fillies and mares.

Trick's Pic was saddled by trainer Doug O'Neill. A 5-year-old mare, Trick's Pic joined his stable in early January, having been trained by Jenine Sahadi for two starts in November and December. Trick's Pic was trained by Patrick Biancone until late October, when he began a suspension for a medication violation.

Owned by Joseph Lacombe, Trick's Pic has won 5 of 20 starts and $260,288. She may return in the $150,000 Buena Vista Handicap going a mile on turf on Feb. 18, O'Neill said.
