CARMANDIA has been in career form since returning from a July layoff, and she may be in line for yet another move forward making the two sprints-to-a-route move in the third start of the cycle. She shows a sharp bullet workout in preparation for this start, and may sit a beautiful stalking trip while clear of trouble. A perfect 2-2 over the Aqueduct main track, Carmandia won't have a problem with this one-turn mile. YOLANDA B. TOO made a three wide midrace move in company with winner Silmaril (entered in the Falls City at Churchill Downs on Thursday) in the Maryland Million Distaff, but couldn't keep up with that foe when the real racing began. She should be sharper with that race under her belt, and looms a forward factor breaking from the inside post. She figures to be right there when they swing into the stretch. MISS SHOP upset heavily-favored stablemate Teammate to win the Grade 3 Turnback the Alarm going two turns, but she has good one turn mile form, and would benefit from a quick pace up front. RAHY'S APPEAL repeats the turf-to-dirt pattern that resulted in her both of her main track victories, but trainer Tom Bush has been in a prolonged cold streak. There's no telling how good the undefeated MO CUISHLE is for Pletcher, but she hasn't been out since August, and will be tested against older, more experienced foes. She may not be worth a short price. Neither will MALIBU MINT, who may simply be stronger at shorter distances. She was very impressive winning the TCA over Polytrack two back, and was completely overmatched in the Breeders' Cup Sprint last time.

Selections: 1. Carmandia 2. Yolanda B. Too 3. Miss Shop
