35-1 shot Dealt A Winner set a new track record for an aged gelding pacer of 1:47 4/5 in winning the $163,000 Roll With Joe for open pacers, and Pasithea Face S shattered the all-age track record for a trotter by scoring in 1:50 4/5 in the $40,000 Ms. Versatility for trotting mares on Sunday afternoon at Tioga Downs. In the Roll With Joe, Sunfire Blue Chip (Mark MacDonald) took the field of nine to the opening quarter in 26 1/5, but Rockin Ron (Yannick Gingras) advanced first-over and took the lead as they raced under the finish line the first time.  Rockin Ron would go on to click off the half in 54 1/5, with Wakizashi Hanover (Tim Tetrick), the tepid 2-1 favorite, moving first-up to challenge out of fourth and Dealt A Winner (David Miller) following the cover. Rockin Ron kept Wakizashi Hanover at bay to the 1:20 4/5 three-quarters, and Wakizashi Hanover began to retreat on the far turn, which sent Dealt A Winner three-wide early to get around him.  In the stretch Rockin Ron tried to seal the deal, but Dealt A Winner kept advancing on the outside, and he would go by the pace-setter on his way to winning by a length and a half.  Sunfire Blue Chip was third and All Bets Off (Matt Kakaley) overcame post nine to finish fourth. The 1:47 4/5 clocking lowered the previous track record for an aged gelding pacer of 1:48 1/5 that had belonged to Bettor Sweet since 2011.  It was also only one-fifth of a second off the world record of Bigtown Hero. "He felt really good," said Miller.  "My cover started stalling in the last turn, and he actually had a real good hold of me.  I was a bit worried about Yannick because it looked like had plenty of horse left, but I took three-deep and he just marched right to the wire." Mark Silva trains Dealt A Winner, a 5-year-old Cam's Card Shark gelding, for owner Jeff Snyder.  The 2015 Cane Pace winner, Dealt A Winner now has 13 career victories and lifetime earnings of $852,808.  He returned $72.50 to win.Fred J. BrownPasithea Face S (#2) is now the fastest trotter in the history of Tioga Downs Back in the Ms. Versatility, it would be Oho Diamond (Brett Miller) on top at the 27 1/5 first quarter, but Pasithea Face S (Tetrick), coming off a win in the Steele Memorial on Hambletonian Day, went from third to first on the way to the 55 1/5 half.  Pasithea Face S would go on to hit three-quarters in 1:23, keeping a first-over P L Jill (Corey Callahan) at bay, and then used a 27 4/5 final kicker to beat her outside pursuer by a quarter of a length.  Oho Diamond wound up third. The final time of 1:50 4/5 broke the existing all-age trotting track record at Tioga of 1:52 1/5, and was also just a fifth of a second off the world record that belongs to Daylon Miracle. Pasithea Face S, a 5-year-old Muscle Hill mare, is trained by Jimmy Takter for owner Courant AB.  This was her 11th career victory, and she has now earned $413,299.  The 3-5 favorite, Pasithea Face S paid $3.40 to win. There was also a $53,700 Tompkins event for 2-year-old filly trotters on the card, and it would be a 1-2 finish for trainer Linda Toscano as Repentance (Tetrick) got up from the pocket to defeat stablemate Seven Karats (Gingras) by half a length in 1:56 1/5.  Altar Gal (Miller) finished third. The victorious daughter of Chapter Seven is owned by breeder Diamond Creek Farm.  She broke her maiden in her third career try, and she has now banked $31,248.  She's the first foal out of the Donato Hanover mare Swan Hot Mama, a half-sister to the likes of Swan Image (Balanced Image, $628,952).  Repentance, the even-money favorite, returned $4.20 to win.
