Hititoutofthepark went over $200,000 in career earnings thanks to his Tompkins tally on Friday

Hititoutofthepark won for the third straight time and picked up his third stakes victory of the season with a 1:55 2/5 decision in the second of two Arthur Tompkins divisions for 3-year-old colt trotters on Friday evening at Tioga Downs.  The winner of the other colt event was 39-1 shot Dominion Beach, while Goosebump Hanover and Celebrity Eventsy won companion splits for sophomore trotting fillies.

Driven by Mike Simons, Hititoutofthepark worked out a second-over trip behind fractions of 28, 57 1/5, and 1:26 2/5 set by Steed (Matt Kakaley).  Simons brought his horse off the cover at the top of the stretch, rallied to the lead, and held safe over a closing Blownoutofthewater (Jim Morrill Jr.) to prevail by three-quarters of a length in the $38,440 race.  Steed held third.

John Butenschoen trains Hititoutofthepark, a Yankee Glide ridgling, for the ownership group of Give It A Shot Stable, Kurt Welling, and VIP Internet Stable.  Hititoutofthepark now has won half of his 18 career starts, and he has earned $216,946.  Hititoutofthepark was the 1-2 favorite, and he paid $3.10 to win.

Back in the first $38,940 section for colts, Dominion Beach (Marcus Johansson) slipped off the cones into a third-over slot near the 1:26 1/5 three-quarters, and in the stretch he would rally past heavy favorite Cufflink Hanover (Kakaley), who had taken the lead from first-over past three-quarters, to score by half a length in 1:54 2/5.  Waitlifter K (Jim Meittinis) came in third.

Dominion Beach is a Muscle Hill colt trained by Nancy Johansson for owner Courant A B.  Dominion Beach won for the fourth time from 18 starts, and he has now banked $141,640.  He returned $80 for the victory.

A field of five lined up for the first $27,690 Tompkins test for 3-year-old trotting fillies, and Goosebump Hanover (Morrill Jr.) was up in the final stride after a second-over trip to beat Southwind Hope (Kakaley), who provided the eventual winner her cover, by a head in 1:55 2/5.  Pace-setter Sweet Ashley T (Homer Hochstetler) took third.

Ron Burke trains the victorious daughter of RC Royalty for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., J&T Silva Stables LLC., Crawford Farms LLC., and Joe Di Scala Jr.  Goosebump Hanover has five wins from 16 career attempts, and she now shows earnings of $145,185.  The 9-5 second choice behind Southwind Hope, Goosebump Hanover paid $3.60.

1-9 favorite Celebrity Eventsy (John Campbell) had an easy time of it in the other $27,690 filly flight, moving from third to first before the 57 second half and widening from there to tally by four lengths in 1:54.4.  Open Access (Kakaley) and Jazebel De Vie (Meittinis) followed in second and third, respectively.

Celebrity Eventsy, a filly by Manofmanymissions, is trained by Staffan Lind for owner Celebrity Farms.  Celebrity Eventsy posted her sixth career triumph, and she has now put away $263,588.  She returned $2.30.
