Driver Scott Zeron swept the three $40,600 New York Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old filly trotters on Sunday afternoon at Tioga Downs, headlined by a 1:52 1/5 track record effort by Atlanta in the second of those flights. Making her first pari-mutuel start since winning the Empire Breeders Classic final at Vernon Downs last month in 1:50 3/5, Atlanta made front from post six and cut fractions of 27 4/5, 57, and 1:25.  Plunge Blue Chip (Ake Svanstedt) edged out of the pocket near three-quarters, but Atlanta was having none of that, as she kicked away around the final turn and went on to win by 3 1/4 lengths.  Lima Novelty (Jim Morrill Jr.) was the third-place finisher. The 1:52 1/5 clocking lowered the previous track record of 1:52 4/5 set by Barn Bella last year. "I didn't want to have to waste a big mile going in a sire stake," said Zeron.  "I'm hoping that she can do big, great things all year long.  The last thing I wanted to do was find the bottom of her lungs, and we didn't have to today.  That's a good thing.  "It feels like she has a lot more.  I don't know how much it is, but it feels like a lot because she doesn't tire.  It's quite amazing.  When Ake had pulled the two-hole, she sensed it.  She took off a little bit, and I just slowed her up down the lane because I didn't want to have to go too fast, but evidently it was a track record." Rick Zeron trains Atlanta for owners Holland Racing Stable, Howard Taylor, and Brad Grant.  Now four-for-four this year, she is an eight-time winner in her life, and she has banked $270,995.  She paid $2.10 to win. Scott Zeron's other two winners were also fillies by Chapter Seven and came from the Linda Toscano barn, with Tribute To Seven taking the opening split and Repentance the final section. Lucky Ava (Svanstedt) had control through slow panels of 28 4/5, 59, and 1:27 1/5, with Tribute To Seven coming first-up from fourth nearing the half.  Despite Lucky Ava having the pace advantage, Tribute To Seven out-gamed her in the lane, getting up late to prevail by a neck in 1:55 2/5.  Perfect Summer K (Jason Bartlett) was third from the pocket. "I knew Lucky Ava was going to be on the front-end, and she's very capable of going wire-to-wire, so I was trying to run my own race," offered Zeron.  "We ended up being first-up, having to do it a tough way, but mine grinded it out and really stuck her nose out at the end.  While we were out there it felt steady, it felt like the pace was moving along nice.  Off a 59 half I didn't believe we were going to go a mile in 55, so it was quite a deficit to make up." Tribute To Seven is trained by Toscano for owner/breeder Richard Gutnick.  This was Tribute To Seven's fourth lifetime win, and she has now earned $66,576.  She returned $9.50 to win. Svanstedt also had command in the last grouping as Fury Road chopped out stations of 28 2/5, 58 3/5, and 1:26 3/5, with Repentance loosely following the cover of Golden Muscle (Morrill Jr.) from second-over.  Repentance fanned out three-wide for the stretch drive, and she would surge by in the lane, going on to win by two lengths in 1:55 3/5.  Golden Muscle was the runner-up, with Fury Road third. "I loved her right from the beginning," remarked Toscano.  "As a 2-year-old she was plagued with some problems, and this year we started out a little rocky, but I think we have her on the right track right now.  She seems to be minding her P's and Q's and getting it done." Diamond Creek Farm bred and owns Repentance, who scored the third triumph of her career and pushed her bankroll to $86,291.  The 5-2 favorite, Repentance paid $7.10 to win.
