EmailTin Cup Chalice won an early speed duel with Delaware Park invader Scary Trip en route to a 1o3/4-length win in the $50,000 Finger Lakes Juvenile. Scary Trip was disqualified from second and placed third behind Say Toba Sandy for impeding that rival leaving the gate.

The victory was the second in as many starts for Tin Cup Chalice, a New York-bred son of Crusader Sword who is trained by his owner and breeder, Mike Lecesse. Tin Cup Chalice ran the six furlongs in 1:11.25 under jockey Omar Camejo and paid $4.70.
