Race 2: Cain Is Abel (#7) Took plenty of money in his debut when bet down to 3-1. Encountered trouble around the far turn of that race, having to steady and wait for room at multiple points. Is bred to have talent as a half-brother to talented New York-bred Mr. Buff. 3-1 on ML Race 5: Ostrolenka (#1) Has a valid excuse for his poor last race, as it was run during a driving snowstorm. Handled a sloppy surface back in July at Saratoga, so may be able to overcome a wet track here. Can use his versatile running style to get the jump on the closers. 4-1 on ML Race 7: Colorful Charades (#6) Gets her first chance to compete in a dirt sprint since winning her debut at Saratoga as a 2-year-old. Her pedigree is strongly geared toward sprinting on dirt, so it’s no surprise she didn’t handle the turf recently. Won her debut over a “good” track, so she should not be hindered by residual moisture in the surface here. 15-1 on ML :: Get TimeformUS PPs for these races at Aqueduct
