Three-way rematch in feature

PORTLAND, Ore. - Outofthisworld looks to repeat when he heads a field of 10 sprinters in Monday's six-furlong feature, for open $2,500 company.

Outofthisworld, a 5-year-old son of Flying Continental from the barn of trainer Delmer Webb, is coming off a sharp score under the same conditions on Dec. 13. In that race, Outofthisworld came from off the pace under Tim Neal to score by 1 1/4 lengths over Jac Four Girls, with On El Bon a neck back in third. His clocking was a good 1:12.60 for the six furlongs.

Both Jac Four Girls and On El Bon will be back for another crack at Outofthisworld, who will carry 123 pounds with Jose Zunino in the irons.

Neal has elected to stay with Lotta Slew, who is also coming off a recent score. Lotta Slew, an 8-year-old trained by Nick Lowe, defeated $2,500 nonwinners-for-the-year company by 3 1/4 lengths on Dec. 6, when he got six furlongs in 1:12.80.

Another threat is The Station, who will be shooting for the 12th victory of a stellar career that has netted more than $268,000 in earnings. The Station, a 6-year-old trained by Jonathan Nance, posted a second and a third against $4,000 company trying route distances in his last two outings. When last seen sprinting on Nov. 15, The Station defeated $2,500 rivals by 1 1/2 lengths, going six furlongs in 1:12.60. Nance has tabbed Jose Rivera to ride on Monday at pounds.

Monday's nine-race card gets under way at 1:05 p.m.
