Three have qualified for Juvenile Fillies Turf, but one unlikely to run

Three of the five Win and You’re In races for the Juvenile Fillies Turf have been run.

Misty For Me captured the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes on Aug. 29 at the Curragh for trainer Aidan O’Brien, who sent out Lillie Langtry to finish eighth as the favorite in last year’s Juvenile Fillies Turf at Santa Anita.

New Normal was an impressive front-running winner of the Grade 3 Natalma Stakes on Sept. 18 at Woodbine. Trained by Mark Frostad, she earned a big 88 Beyer Speed Figure in that one-turn mile.

White Moonstone was a workmanlike winner of the Group 1 Meon Valley Stud Fillies’ Mile on Sept. 25 at Ascot, but is unlikely to run again this year.

Other turf stakes with possible implications were the Sept. 1 P.G. Johnson at Saratoga, in which Fancy Point won her maiden, and the Sept. 25 Happy Ticket at Louisiana Downs, which Jazzy Jessy won in a time that was quicker than what 2-year-old males registered in the Sunday Silence Stakes on the same card.

The next Win and You’re In event is the $150,000 Miss Grillo Stakes on Sunday at Belmont.
