Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Ky. has released the 2016 advertised fees for its nine-horse stallion roster, led by second-year stallion Will Take Charge. Will Take Charge, a 5-year-old son of Unbridled’s Song, will stand for $30,000 during the upcoming breeding season, remaining consistent with his fee in 2015. All other returning Three Chimneys stallions will remain at their same fees from the 2015 season, as well. Two stallions will make their debuts at stud in 2016, including Grade 1 winner Palace Malice, who will stand for $20,000. The 5-year-old son of Curlin retired with seven wins in 19 starts, including victories in the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes and Metropolitan Handicap, the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes, New Orleans Handicap, and Gulfstream Park Handicap, and the Grade 3 Westchester Stakes. “His body of work on the racetrack, including the Met Mile and Belmont Stakes, coupled with his pedigree and great looks make him an exceptional value for breeders,” said Grant Williamson, Three Chimneys’ director of stallion nominations and sales. Also standing his first season at Three Chimneys in 2016 is Fast Anna, a Grade 1-placed stakes winner out of champion Dreaming of Anna. The 4-year-old Medaglia d’Oro colt will stand for $7,500. “Three Chimneys commitment to offering breeders outstanding value continues with our two new additions and the remainder of our roster remains at the same fees as last year,” Williamson said. “There is a lot to look forward to in the coming year and we welcome the opportunity to share this with our clients.” Following are the 2016 advertised fees for the Three Chimneys stallion roster.
