Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Ky. has released its advertised stud fees for the 2014 breeding season.

Seven of Three Chimneys’ stallions will stand for a reduced rate in 2013, including the two that will command the highest fees: Exchange Rate and Sky Mesa, who will each stand for $20,000. Last year, Exchange Rate stood for $30,000, while Sky Mesa stood for $25,000.

Also standing for lower fees in 2014 are Kentucky Derby winner Big Brown (from $35,000 to $10,000), Grade 1 winners Brilliant Speed (from $10,000 to $5,000), Caleb’s Posse (from $10,000 to $5,000), and Flower Alley (from $20,000 to $7,500), as well as Grade 2 winner Lewis Michael (from $5,000 to $3,000).

“As we set our fees for 2014, our focus is to provide great value to all breeders in all segments of the market, top to bottom," said Three Chimneys president Case Clay. "Our stud fees are lower because our commitment to our customers' success has never been higher."

All other Three Chimneys stallions will stand at the same rate they did in 2013. The fee for War Chant is to be announced at a future date.
