Animal Kingdom is among nine Triple Crown winners whose Moneigh paintings will be auctioned on eBay by the Thoroughbred adoption group ReRun.

ReRun, an adoption organization for Thoroughbred racehorses, announced Wednesday it will host an online auction for its Moneigh paintings. The artworks are created by the horses, using their muzzles, whiskers, tails, or hooves or by holding a paintbrush between their teeth.

The auction, which will take place June 2-9, will feature paintings by nine Triple Crown race winners – Animal Kingdom, Funny Cide, Giacomo, Mine That Bird, Orb, Shackleford, Street Sense, Super Saver, and Union Rags.

“We are so grateful to the owners, trainers, and farms to allow us to have the opportunity to meet and work with these stars of the turf,” Mary Simons, coordinator of the Moneigh project, said in a release.  “Giacomo was the most shy, Super Saver was the most zen, and Shackleford the most playful. Each painting is unique and original.”
