Taylor Made sells interest in Paramount

Taylor Made Sales, the consignment agency of Taylor Made Farm, announced Tuesday that it has sold its interest in Paramount Sales, another consigning agency in central Kentucky, to Paramount partners Gabriel Duignan and Pat Costello.

Since 2002, Taylor Made had been a silent partner in Paramount, which Irish-born Costello and Duignan founded in 2001. Since then, the agency has grown into a top 10 North American consignor by gross sales.

"Over the last 12 months, Paramount has become truly Pat's and Gabriel's company," said Mark Taylor, Taylor Made's vice president of public sales. "They do all the work, and we believe everyone will be better served allowing them to move forward without Taylor Made as a passive investor."

Paramount sale graduates include Grade 1 performers Flower Alley, Andromeda's Hero, Sir Greeley, Antonius Pius, and Sweet Talker.

Taylor Made is located near Nicholasville, Ky., and Paramount is based in Lexington.
