Tattersalls July sale catalog now online

The catalog for the 2014 Tattersalls July sale is now available online, featuring a group of 757 lots.

The three-day sale will take place Wednesday, July 9 through Friday July 11 in Newmarket, England. All three days feature morning sessions, while Thursday and Friday also have sessions in the early evening.

This year’s edition of the July sale marks a 3 percent increase from the 2013 catalog, which featured 736 offerings. The catalog comprises 660 horses in training and 96 broodmares, the latter of which will sell during Wednesday’s session.

“The Tattersalls July Sale has become firmly established as the leading midsummer sale in Europe and that is no surprise given the success on the racecourse of late of the progeny of fillies and mares bought at the sale,” said Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony. “No fewer than five Group 1 winners in the space of 15 months is testament to the quality on offer, and at an average price of less than 25,000 guineas, proof of the value available.

“There is plenty to entice both domestic and international buyers in this year’s July catalogue with major consignments from so many of Europe’s most successful owner/breeders and trainers who look set to provide buyers with the perfect blend of quality, diversity and value for money.”
