Young stallion Talent Search will stand the 2013 breeding season at Ramsey Farm in Nicholasville, Ky.

The 9-year-old Catienus horse, who will be represented by his first crop of 2-year-olds on the track next year, stood the 2012 season at Diamond B Farm in Mohrsville, Pa. for a fee of $2,500 when the foal stands and nurses. He will stand for the same fee at Ramsey Farm.

Talent Search raced as a homebred for Ken and Sarah Ramsey, winning 6 of 15 career starts in four seasons and earning $603,360.

Talent Search captured the Jim McKay Stakes at Pimlico Race Course and the Teddy Drone Stakes at Monmouth Park in 2007. He recorded five graded stakes placings, including a third in the 2007 Breeders’ Cup Sprint and runner-up efforts in that year’s Grade 1 Vosburgh Stakes and Grade 1 Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash Stakes.

Out of the stakes-placed Dixieland Band mare Mrs. K., Talent Search is a half-brother to Group 3 winner Port Bayou, stakes winners Kera’s Kitten and Lethal Agenda, and Grade 2-placed winner Spelling.
