EDMONTON, Alberta - Sweet Creek will be looking for her fourth win of the year when she heads a field of 10 fillies and mares in Friday's feature race at Northlands Park, a 6 1/2-furlong sprint for $22,000 claimers.

A 4-year-old trained by Dale Greenwood, Sweet Creek is coming off a victory at one mile, and was claimed from each of her two previous wins this year. Sweet Creek will be ridden by Quincy Welch from post 7.

Jadebquick also won her most recent start, but this will be her first outing in five weeks. Trainer Gerry Kipling again enlists Desmond Bryan to ride.

Finishing second to Jadebquik in that May 28 race was Lot a Smoke, who will again have Mike Iammarino as his jockey. Also running for the first time since May 28 will be Crossing, ridden by Leanne Painter. Crossing ran last in a field of six after winning at this level two starts back.

Jessie Guest will try tougher company in her first start for new connections. She was claimed by trainer Ernie Keller after defeating $17,500 claimers under Bryan. Keller has named Perry Winters as Jessie Guest's new rider.

Bue Moon is coming off a distant third to Sweet Creek on June 11 at a mile. Also returning from that race are Stardust Special and O Howrude, who were fourth and fifth. Both are seeking their first win of the season.

Dropping from the $28,000 level are Tantoo and Eradikate.

The 8-year-old Tantoo has won 18 races. She won a four-furlong sprint in her seasonal debut, but she has finished up the track in her last three tries.
