Super One, with Alfredo Triana Jr. aboard, scores by 1 1/4 lengths in the Ingrid Knotts.

Super One was always prominent to win the $40,000 Ingrid Knotts for the second year in a row Saturday at Arapahoe Park. She won by 1 1/4 lengths over A J’s Grand, while it was another three lengths back in third to Galactic Princess.

The Ingrid Knotts was a six-furlong race for fillies and mares bred in Colorado.

Super One won the race at 38-1 a year ago, but was a much shorter price Saturday. She went off at 7-2 and returned $9.40. Super One attended fractions of 22.03 seconds for the opening quarter-mile and 45.11 for the half-mile. She went on to cover the distance on a sloppy, sealed track in 1:11.68.

Alfredo Triana Jr. was aboard for trainer Juan Ortega.
